Teampoop

Today I ran the first 5k of the year. It was a super nice day, so a run on the Albuquerque Bosque. However, the people who organized the run.. well, they weren't organized. They had a package pickup that ran for the last two days, but you had to pick up your chip this morning, before the run. So there was a big crowd at that table. Then the actual race start was across a muddy construction area, to a different road than where the chip table was. The race went around the construction, to the Montano bosque parking area, and then across the river, to the bosque trail. A few meters down the east bank of the river and then we turn around. Now the river trail is real nice, but when you turn a group of runners around it, there is going to be a nice traffic jam. So it was a bit of a cluster, but still a fun run.
